Biomedical Researcher
DRIVEN BY CURIOSITY AND CREATIVITY
Academic Biography
I acquired my basic education in Bangalore, India and flew overseas for a Masters degree in Drug Design and Biomedical Science from Napier University, Edinburgh. I was awarded a Gold Medal for my performance and completion of the degree with Distinction.
I then joined the University of Bern, Switzerland for PhD in Biomedical Science. Upon graduation I received a two year fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation to pursue postdoctoral studies at the University of California San Diego.
After which I returned to Zurich as an Independent Postdoctoral Researcher at the University Hospital Zurich. I also took up the role as the Lab Manager, set-up a research laboratory for the department and acted as the Biosafety Officer.
