Concept

Music for a Bharatanatyam song is provided with the workbook. In the process of choreographing to the music, the student is encouraged to pay attention to the nadai and understand the formation of the avartanam. Abhinaya Darpanam is a treatise on Indian dance written in the 15th century by Sri. Nandikeshwara. It structurally isolates different body parts and describes their movement and application in dance. The aim is not only to serve children learning the art form but to engage any child interested in creative dance and expression.
